National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET)
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG was being conducted by the CBSE ,central board till 2018 . However NEET will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 on-wards. NEET (UG) is applicable for the admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India. NTA responsibility will be limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Directorate General Health Services, Government of India for the conduct of counseling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counseling Authorities.The NEET (UG) - 2019 will be conducted on Sunday, 5th May, 2019.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) an engineering entrance examination is  conducted for admission to various engineering colleges in India. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 on-wards. This Examination was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018.
As per the new scheme, the JEE (Main) - 2019 exam would be conducted twice in a year (January and April). The Number of attempts for admission in a particular academic session will be treated as One.
The most common Question about new pattern- Is it compulsory to appear in JEE (main) twice? and the answer is -"NO" it is not necessary to appear in JEE (Main) twice. This would be optional for the candidate to appear once or twice for the current academic session. In case a candidate appears in both the tests, the better of the two scores will be used for the admissions and eligibility for JEE (Advance)-2019 they have attempted both the examinations, best of the scores would be taken for the merit list.
